We have a new project in the shop. DH has owned this 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air for about 25 years. He has been collecting parts and planning what he wanted for a long time. Now that he’s retired, it’s time to get it done and have some fun driving it.

The car came into our shop with quite a bit of work already done. It has a Paul Newman chassis with late Corvette suspension and steering, an LS1 with lots of Street & Performance parts, a 4L60E transmission and LOTS of yellow paint.

Our job will be to do the plumbing, wiring, and fabrication & assembly of all the little pieces that make it a complete car.

We have already done the initial wiring and plumbing to make sure the used engine was in good shape. The next task is to get it to the point that it can be test driven around the parking lot.
